Development of the real estate sector in Turkey for 2019 and the month December – Sales of Turkish real estate in 2019 roughly on the level of the previous year
In the whole year 2019 a total of 1,348,729 properties were sold, 1.9% less than in the year 2018. Of these 332,508 were financed by mortgages (2018: 276,820). The sale of new constructions amounted to 511,682 properties. The resale of properties amounts to 837,407 units.
Development of the real estate sector in Turkey in November 2019 – Strong demand in November 2019
In November a total of 138,872 properties were sold, 54.4% more than in November 2018. Istanbul took first place with 24,924 transfers and a share of 18%, followed by Ankara with 14,406 (10,5%) and Izmir with 8,428 transfers (6,1%).
Development of the real estate sector in Turkey in October 2019 – Mortgage financing of Turkish real estate in October 2019 at its highest level
In October a total of 142,810 properties were sold, 2.5% less than in October 2018. Istanbul took first place with 24,451 transfers and a share of 17,1%, followed by Ankara with 13,978 (9,8%) and Izmir with 9,012 transfers (6,3%).
