Mortgage-financed sales showed an increased by 1,186.9% compared to June 2019. The share of mortgage sales in total sales was 53.4% (June 2019: 11.9%). In mortgage sales, Istanbul ranked first with 14,767 house sales.
88,508 houses changed hands as a result of self-financed transfers. Self-financed transfers increased by 63.8% compared to June 2019. Istanbul ranked first with 14,032 house sales and Ankara second with 8,114 sales. Izmir was followed by Ankara with 5,004 sales.
58,632 houses were sold for the first time (= new construction sales). The number of properties sold for the first time increased by 152.7% compared to June 2019. The sales share of new properties in Turkey in all house sales was 30.9% (June 2019: 26.8%. In new construction sales, Istanbul had the largest share followed by Ankara and İzmir.
A total of 131,380 houses changed hands in the second-hand sale of Turkish property. The second-hand sales showed a 244.9% increase compared to June 2019.

Mortgage-financed sales leveling at 18,483 resulted in an increase of 23.9% compared to May 2019. The share of mortgage share in total sales was 36.3% (May 2019: 6.4%). In mortgage sales, Istanbul ranked first with 1,211 house sales.

The share of second hand sales in total house sales was 66.9% . Ankara ranked second with 3,334 houses sold. Ankara was followed by İzmir with the sale of 1,679 houses.

The share of second hand sales in total house sales was 67.6%. Ankara ranked second with 9,101 houses sold. Ankara was followed by İzmir with the sale of 5,023 houses.

Istanbul ranked first with 15,336 sales (18.8% share). The share of second hand sales in total house sales was 67.7% . Ankara ranked second with 10,021 houses sold. Ankara was followed by İzmir with the sale of 5,299 houses.
